Romans 11:11 Did God’s people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! They were disobedient, so God made salvation available to the Gentiles. But he wanted his own people to become jealous and claim it for themselves.
Whenever a person determines to overcome difficulties, or to change their lives they can be sure stumbles along they way. They will never experience completely plain sailing. They will also always be aware of warning signs of impending danger. Recovery can also like that. In these times we can rely on God to help us to continue on His path for us, even though we may stumble. Falling down is not failure, not getting back up is.
