March 2011 - Step 3

I am making a decision to let God help me change

and commit to working with Him to do so.

Self-Discipline.

Step Six is an inner transformation.
Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character.

Hear what God says :
(Walk with Him – Talk with Him – Listen to Him )

Listen to this message from the LORD, you nations of the world; proclaim it in distant coastlands:

The LORD, who scattered his people, will gather them and watch over them as a shepherd does his flock.

Believe what God says:
(He tells the truth – He backs up what He says – He cares about you)

When Jesus got home, the blind men went in with him. Jesus said to them, "Do you really believe I can do this?" They said, "Why, yes, Master!"

Follow what God says
(Move from your comfort zone – Be courageous )

Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat; I am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I'll show you how.

Act on what God says
(Changed attitudes—Changed values—Changed beliefs)

All we're saying is that God has the first word, initiating the action in which we play our part for good or ill.

Leave the results to God
(Focus on Jesus - Trust and Obey)

Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.
