1 Cor. 15:34 Think straight. Awaken to the holiness of life. No more playing fast and loose with resurrection facts. Ignorance of God is a luxury you can't afford in times like these. Aren't you embarrassed that you've let this kind of thing go on as long as you have?
The church from it's beginning has had as it's goal a spiritual awakening or renewal, through faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
This is also the goal of the Twelve Steps. The Twelve Steps have at their core the desire to transform the lives of people caught up in addiction and self-destruction. .
This is also the goal of Recovery Church 2 Cor. 5:17 Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it!
